It features 55 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, 5 vocational training centers (such as the CIMIC), and 9 continuing education centers. The region also offers high-quality private schools with specialty focuses such as a sports program, the International Baccalaureate program, and the Citizens of the World program. 7 secondary schools are affiliated with Laval University, which is less than an hour drive from Saint-Georges. Cégep Beauce-Appalaches, part of the Appalachian University Center, offers pre-university and technical education as well as an apprenticeship company devoted to job seekers.
