Charles Adams Appointed Chief Sales Officer for Victor Group
October 13, 2009Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada, October 13, 2009 – Victor Group, a leading North American-based textile company, today announced that the company has appointed Charles Adams to the position of chief sales officer. Adams, a long-time veteran of the textile industry, will be in charge of all the sales services for all three divisions (residential, contract and apparel & specialty) of Victor Group. The appointment of Adams comes in response to the company’s plans for continued growth in the various markets it currently serves. Victor Group has a long history and is an established leader in the contract market, and the recent acquisitions of the Quaker Fabric Corporation and the Craftex brand have resulted in significant growth in the residential market as well. Company officials are confident that Adams’ background and experience will help him effectively manage the company’s expansion in these divergent markets. “Charles is known for his strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial vision, his profit and performance-oriented management style as well as his global strategic vision of the market and enterprise,” said Alain Duval, CEO and president of Victor Group. “With nearly 30 years of experience and a proven track record of success, Charles brings invaluable as we look to continue our growth.” Adams has a combined 28 years of experience in the textile industry. Focused on innovation and objectives-driven, he is an accomplished senior executive with management skills in both international and domestic markets. Prior to joining Victor, Adams spent two years as President and Chief Operating Officer at Morgan Fabrics, a global fabric supplier to the home furnishings industry. Previously, Adams’ career included 26 years with Milliken & Company, a worldwide textile and chemical corporation.
